Update: A Year Later

Hi everyone,

I've been working on polishing up and adding to Eklan Tor for the past couple of months. I've added an introduction/tutorial (seen in the picture I included) and also a hint system.  Oh, and an ending (well, currently working on that).  It's all because a VR arcade company expressed interest in licensing my game, so I thought I'd do a few things to make it better. I'll end up uploading all my changes sometime in the next few months in case people want to check it out.

Eventually I'm thinking of making a commercial version with more gameplay and locations if there's interest in that. If not, I'll continue work on my more narrative game, Under a Juniper Sky. Do people have a preference? It's the difference in a more location based, unfolding type game (you start in once location and more open up, and you can always revisit places) and something with more of a linear story. I think both have their strengths.

My daughter is constantly asking me when more levels are coming out for the "Giant Finding Game", so obviously we'd love to see more of this :D

I'd personally like to see a story based game, where the world really unfolds as you progress, starting off simply, but building a charming world full of little things to explore and learn about. Hopefully, this would all be anchored around an engaging story. I really dig the art style of Eklan Tor and feel like it really lends itself to this kind of game, with the dense, but not over the top detail, and wonderful atmosphere.

Sorry if this come off as too wishful, but I just want to get lost in a world like what you've started here!

I think a more narrative style game would be very cool, but I do really love Eklan Tor!
